What a great read. The author's sense of humor and intelligence sneak through on every page as he details the American spirit through our blossoming craft beer industry. This book bridges the gap between beer snobs and beer lovers without pretense.

Four and a half stars...

Excellent read. A great overview of a lot of the major themes running in the craft beer market and very entertaining. The people in the book are really given a good voice and their personalities come through. As a minor positive I like that the occasional expletive was left in and not edited out by the author like some would do; brewers are often colorful people and to remove that would be an injustice to the reality. Four stars because it is occasionally a bit inconsistent and jumps around a little, but those are minor concerns in a good book. I would give four and a half stars if Amazon would let me.
